The journal retracts the article titled “Research on Sustainable Form Design of NEV Vehicle Based on Particle Swarm Algorithm Optimized Support Vector Regression” [1], cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding an overlap between this article [1] and another article [2] by the same authorship group, the latter being under consideration and published by another publisher within a similar time.
Adhering to our standard procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and the Editorial Board that confirmed a significant overlap between the two publications. Given the level of overlap and the respective publication dates, the Editorial Board considers this publication [1] to be redundant and have decided to retract this article as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Sustainability.
The corresponding author Xuhui Chen agrees to this retraction and wishes to indicate that the remaining authors were unaware of the simultaneous submission of this article. Zongming Liu, Xinan Liang, Shiwen Huang and Yang Zhao did not provide a comment on this decision.
