Conference: The RGS-IBG Annual International Conference 2026

MDPI will attend the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference 2026. The conference will take place in London at the Society and Imperial College London and online from Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 September 2026.

The RGS-IBG Annual International Conference regularly draws over 2,000 international geographers. The Royal Geographical Society serves an exceptionally wide range of public and professional audiences, including their 16,000 members.

The 2026 conference will be chaired by Prof. Peter Hopkins (Newcastle University, UK) and center on the theme of “Geographies of inequalities: towards just places”, with a focus on charting the complexities of spatial inequalities and injustices across society, culture, the economy, development, and the environment.
