Travel Award

The application deadline of the Tomography 2025 Travel Award has been extended. Entries will be accepted until 28 February 2025. We are looking forward to applications from all over the world.

The Tomography Travel Award was launched in 2024 and will be presented every year to encourage junior scientists to present their latest research at academic conferences in the field of imaging technologies, which helps to grow their profiles. The application process will be open from April to October annually, and the winners will be announced by the end of December.

The Prize:
– CHF 500;
– A certificate.

Eligibility and Requirements

– Postdoctoral fellows or PhD students;
– Plans to attend an international conference in 2025 (oral presentation or poster).

List of Documents for Application

– Information on the conference the applicant is planning to attend and the abstract that will be submitted;
– Curriculum Vitae and list of publications;
– Justification letter describing the focus of the research (max. 800 words);
– A letter of recommendation from the supervisor, research director, or department head which also confirms the applicant’s status.
