SUM 2026—9th Multidisciplinary Symposium on Circular Economy and Urban Mining will be held from 20 to 22 May 2026 on the island of Procida (Naples, Italy).
Organized by IRACE—International Research Association on Circular Economy, the conference will bring together leading international experts, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers—representing diverse disciplinary backgrounds—to explore the latest advancements and key challenges regarding the circular economy, sustainable resource management, and urban mining.
The symposium will foster open dialogue and multidisciplinary collaboration to address the increasing complexity of circular economy issues and the urgent need for integrated, cross-sectoral solutions.
The program will include parallel tracks of oral sessions, workshops, poster presentations and many other engaging activities.
The Call for Papers is open for submitting contributions for oral presentations, posters or workshops on the symposium topics.
