Machine Learning and Chemometrics for Complex Process Analysis and Control

Dear Colleagues,

The Processes Special Issue "Machine Learning and Chemometrics for Complex Process Analysis and Control" is focused on the integration of advanced chemometrics and machine learning to address challenges in complex production and manufacturing processes. With advancements in sensor technology and computational power, industries now generate vast, intricate datasets. This issue highlights innovative methods to analyze, model, and control these processes, enabling better insights and optimization across fields like chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, food production, and agriculture.

We invite original research, reviews, and commentaries on advanced chemometric and machine learning techniques for process analysis and control. Topics include optimization algorithms, model development, and sensor technologies and their applications in agriculture, food science, pharmaceuticals, and biological engineering. This special issue aims to foster collaboration and innovation, driving progress in the understanding and control of complex processes.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
