Travel Award
We are pleased to announce that the winners of the 2020 Travel Awards, sponsored by MDPI and Molecules, are Aisha Bismillah, Azzurra Stefanucci and Joan Josep Soldevila Barreda.
Aisha Bismillah is currently a postdoctoral research associate at Dartmouth College under an All Disciplines US–UK Fulbright Scholarship. Aisha has developed expertise in organic synthesis, physical organic characterization and supramolecular chemistry, which she has been applying to her challenging postdoctoral research project with great success.
Azzurra Stefanucci is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Pharmacy, University “G. d’Annunzio”. She has successfully carried out her PhD fellowship, during which she independently performed systematic and well-planned research in the field of peptide chemistry.
Joan Josep Soldevila Barreda is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Bradford, working with Dr. Nicolas Barry (URF). Her research interest is in biomedical inorganic chemistry, and more specifically in the development of novel organometallic anticancer complexes.
Selecting the winners from such high-quality applications for the awards was a difficult decision, and we would like to thank all applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. We congratulate the winners for their accomplishments.
