28–31 March 2023, Ulm, Germany
32nd Annual Meeting of the Society for Virology (GfV) 2023

Dear colleagues,

GFV2023 will provide an opportunity for European virologists, representing various fields of research, to meet, present their results, and discuss the latest developments in virology that have occurred during this unusual time. It will also be a great opportunity to meet friends, reconvene with old acquaintances, and establish new collaborations.

With the support of the International Scientific Committee, we strive to create a high-quality, interesting, and informative program. Although studies on coronaviruses will undoubtedly be a focus of GFV2023, it is very important to have all virus species and research areas represented, including basic, clinical, veterinary, and plant virology.

In this context, GFV2023 will bring together the world’s leading experts in the field to discuss the most recent research advances in the following topics:

  • Epidemiological and other issues in viral diseases;
  • Research on viral diseases, including laboratory diagnostic early detection, prevention through vaccination, and new therapies;
  • Recent developments in the field of viral diseases;
  • Virus diagnostic methods and new test methods.
