Section Information
The “Cardiovascular Disease” section of the open-access journal Medical Sciences provides a forum for publishing innovative research covering all aspects of cardiovascular health and disease. This section welcomes original research articles, reviews, and communications focusing on the molecular mechanisms, pathophysiology, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular disorders.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, vascular diseases, and congenital heart diseases. Studies investigating cardiovascular biomarkers, advanced imaging techniques, precision medicine, cardiovascular pharmacology, and emerging therapeutic approaches are particularly encouraged.
The section aims to promote interdisciplinary research integrating basic science, translational medicine, and clinical applications to improve the understanding, prevention, and management of cardiovascular diseases.
