Young Investigator Award

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Mathematics 2023 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Bismark Singh.

Dr. Bismark Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Operational Research group within the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton, UK. His main research interests are in stochastic optimization and optimization models. Dr. Bismark Singh received his PhD in 2016 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising 25 publications in peer-reviewed international journals. He is clearly a rising star in the field of stochastic optimization. As a single applicant, Dr. Bismark Singh has secured funding of more than EUR 286,000 since 2015. This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Bismark Singh for his outstanding achievements.

As the awardee, Dr. Bismark Singh will receive an honorarium of CHF 2000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before 31 December 2024 in Mathematics after peer review, and an electronic certificate.
