Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Musculoskeletal disorders are a heterogeneous group of clinical conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system that may also have systemic manifestations: painful symptoms are often associated with functional limitations, with a possible impact on the individual's social life. Moreover, musculoskeletal disorders are second only to mental illnesses and behavioral disorders in terms of their impact on global health.
Proper diagnosis, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation strategies for these disorders are critical for restoring function and allowing patients to return to their life habits safely.
This Special Issue addresses targeted diagnosis, physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches for musculoskeletal disorders, using a comprehensive approach to provide the best possible care. It covers a range of topics, ranging from differential diagnosis of serious pathologies mimicking musculoskeletal disorders to the latest evidence on the effectiveness of conservative interventions. Our objective is to offer a multidisciplinary approach, with experts from various fields contributing to developing targeted, modern, and advanced content that reflects each person's unique physical and psychological features.
Overall, this Special Issue offers insights into the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal disorders, with the final goal being to help patients recover faster and return to participating in social and leisure activities.
