Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) plays a pivotal role at the intersection of dentistry and medicine, addressing a wide range of conditions from facial trauma and congenital deformities to oncologic reconstruction and dental implantology. Recent advances in surgical techniques, imaging, biomaterials, and digital planning have significantly enhanced clinical outcomes and patient safety.

This Special Issue, entitled “Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: Current Trends, Innovations and Techniques”, aims to highlight contemporary developments and evidence-based practices in OMFS. We welcome contributions focused on minimally invasive procedures, virtual surgical planning, tissue engineering, robotics, and interdisciplinary treatment strategies.

We invite the submission of original research articles, review articles, clinical studies, and comprehensive reviews that reflect the ongoing evolution of this dynamic surgical field and its integration into modern clinical care.
