Revolutionizing Neurosurgery: Cutting-Edge Techniques and Innovations

Neurosurgery is rapidly evolving through a combination of refining traditional techniques and making use of innovative technologies. This Special Issue highlights key advances in this discipline, including microsurgical approaches, minimally invasive techniques, endovascular treatments, and advanced neuroimaging.

Conventional microsurgery remains central to the field, with improvements enhancing its precision and safety. Innovations in skull base surgery, aneurysm clipping, and tumor resection continue to optimize patient outcomes. Minimally invasive procedures, such as endoscopic and laser-assisted surgeries, are reducing complications and accelerating recovery. Endovascular techniques for treating aneurysms, AVMs, and stroke offer effective, less invasive options.

This collection will contain cutting-edge research into the advancement of neurosurgery, providing essential knowledge for clinicians and researchers dedicated to improving patient care.

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Journal of Clinical Medicine is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
