Young Investigator Award
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the JCM 2023 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Jasper Iske.
Dr. Jasper Iske has been working in the field of heart transplantation at the department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, German Heart Center of Charité Berlin, Germany. Dr. Jasper Iske has an outstanding publication record and has made outstanding and significant scientific contributions on transplant-related topics including age-specific effects on ischemiareperfusion injury, alloimmune responses as they relate to organ age, and age- adapted immunosuppression. His publication record is outstanding, with 16 (co-) first authorships, an exceptional output for his age. This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Jasper Iske on his outstanding achievements.
As the awardee, Dr. Jasper Iske will receive an honorarium of CHF 2000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before 31 December 2024 in JCM after peerreview, and an electronic certificate.
