The International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (IJERPH) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes articles and communications in the interdisciplinary area of environmental health sciences and public health. The Section “Women’s Health” will focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and the diagnosis and treatment of all conditions that affect women's physical and emotional well-being from a global perspective.
The Women’s Health section aims to provide a platform for authors, reviewers, and researchers around the world to present their original articles, qualitative studies, commentaries, and systematic reviews concerning the new developments in health promotion and the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of women’s illnesses. The Women's Health section includes a wide range of specialties and focus areas, such as: prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections; prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of female cancers; preventive care and screenings for women; sexual health; healthy lifestyle and risk assessment; immunizations; pregnancy and childbirth services; prenatal care, high-risk pregnancy care; birth control, gynecology and reproductive health services; breastfeeding and nursing; menopause and hormone therapy; diet and nutrition services; psychological care and counseling for women dealing with abuse or sexual assault.
