Geosciences | Invitation to Read Papers Related to Geo-Energy (II)
Geo-energy systems, ranging from conventional and unconventional hydrocarbons to natural hydrogen, underground storage and basin-scale tectono-stratigraphic evolution, continue to be a rapidly developing focus in Geosciences (ISSN 2076-3263).
To showcase further recent advances in this area, we present a second selection of ten open access papers that address natural H₂ emanations and soil gas transfer, carbon capture and storage strategies, hydrocarbon generation and petroleum plays in diverse basins, overpressure mechanisms, salt-related hydrocarbon potential, and permafrost porosity estimation.
We warmly invite you to read these contributions and consider how their insights may enrich your own research on geo-energy resources and subsurface processes.
