Testimonials

The year 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of Gels, a peer-reviewed open access journal on physical (supramolecular) and chemical gel-based materials. Starting from scratch, the Gels has emerged as a dynamic force in the field of polymer science and has been accepted into Scopus, SCIE (Web of Science), PubMed, PMC, CAPlus/SciFinder, and other databases. This year, we have launched the anniversary Special Issue with the assistance of our EiC Prof. Dr. Esmaiel Jabbari and Prof. Dr. Gulden Camci-Unal. The success of our journal is inseparable from the contribution of our outstanding editors, reviewers, and authors. To celebrate this anniversary, we are honored to invite some of them to share their experiences of publishing with Gels. Let’s read more about their stories.

As Gels celebrates its 10th anniversary, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the journey this journal has undertaken since its founding. When we launched Gels, our
