17th Central Hardwood Forest Conference

Conference Description and Objective

The Central Hardwood Forest Conference is a series of biennial meetings that is dedicated to the sustainability and improvement of the Central Hardwood forest ecosystems. The objective of the conference is to bring together forest managers and scientists to discuss research and issues concerning the ecology and management of forests in the Central Hardwood region. The conference has been hosted by different institutes across the region. We are pleased to announce that the 17th Central Hardwood Forest Conference will be hosted by the University of Kentucky, Department of Forestry. The meeting will be held April 5-7, 2010 in Lexington, Kentucky.

Topic Areas

The 17th Central Hardwood Forest Conference will encompass topics related to the research and management of forest ecosystems in the Central Hardwood Region in the eastern United States. We welcome contributions in the following areas, as well as any related topics:
