About Dermato
Aims
Dermato (ISSN 2673-4281) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal on skin research. It publishes reviews, original research papers, communications, case reports, letters, and short notes. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their theoretical and experimental results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided.
Scope
The scope of Dermato includes but is not limited to the following subjects:
- Dermatology;
- Skin structure and functions;
- Skin biology;
- Skin immunology and physiology;
- Skin development and aging;
- Skin diseases and treatment;
- Artificial intelligence in dermatology;
- The prevention, diagnosis, and management of skin disorders and melanomas;
- Epigenetic in dermatology;
- Skin pharmacology;
- Pharmacogenomics of skin diseases;
- Skin maintenance, dermatological surgery, and lasers;
- Regenerative medicine and stem cell research related to skin;
- Alternatives to animal experiments and tissue engineering;
- Plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery;
- Skin photoprotection;
- Bioethics in dermatology.

authorship credit, and the like, do arise. MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in
such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications. MDPI works with Publons to provide reviewers with credit for their work.
