2021	The inaugural issue was released. Conservation was published as a quarterly journal.
2024	Conservation was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1). Conservation was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier).
2025	Conservation received its first CiteScore (3.2), ranked 73/231 (Q2) in “Agricultural and Biological Sciences (miscellaneous)”. Conservation received its first Impact Factor (1.9), ranked 31/73 (Q2) in “Biodiversity Conservation”.
