From Childhood to Adulthood: New Trends in Multidisciplinary Orthodontics and Pedodontics

This special issue belongs to the section “Applied Dentistry and Oral Sciences“.

Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to contribute to a Special Issue of Applied Sciences entitled “From Childhood to Adulthood: New Trends in Multidisciplinary Orthodontics and Pedodontics”, which will showcase recent developments in dentistry. New technologies are available to enhance the effectiveness of the diagnostic process and increase the spectrum of detectable pathologies, dimorphisms, and dysfunctions in the orofacial region, as well as providing new clinical approaches to comprehensive dental care.

The aim of this Special Issue is to provide the available evidence-based data on innovative advances and knowledge regarding diagnostic and therapeutic technologies in the orofacial field from childhood to adulthood. This may include diagnostic and treatment approaches in pediatric dentistry, traumatized patients, traumatology in deciduous and mixed dentition in pediatric patients. We also welcome studies covering interceptive and orthopedic treatments, maxillofacial surgery or otolaryngology procedures to manage craniofacial malformations and head and neck disorders as well as sleep apnea syndrome treatment.

For this Special Issue, clinical and research studies are welcome. Case reports, communications and reviews including studies involving the aforementioned topics are also welcome for submission.

We hope that a combination of research and clinical work will provide a good overview of this topic for our readers.
