About Applied Nano

Aims

Applied Nano (ISSN 2673-3501) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on all aspects of the application of nanoscience and nanotechnology. It includes papers from a wide range of areas, covering chemistry, physics, materials science, biosciences, medicine, environmental and water sciences, energy storage and conversion, and electronics, to name a few relevant examples. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.

This journal publishes original research articles, reviews and communications, but other types of articles will also be considered. There is no restriction on the maximum length of papers. In order for the results to be reproduced, full experimental details must be provided, and the journal will make full use of supplementary electronic materials where appropriate.

Scope

As nanomaterials are proving each day more capable of offering solutions to an increasingly wide range of different questions, we will give particular emphasis on the exploitation of nanosized objects and nanostructures addressing particular needs and/or devoted to resolution of specific problems. Thus, works that synthesize information suggesting or showing practical applications will be preferred. MDPI Publication Ethics Statement

Committee on Publication Ethics MDPI is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). MDPI takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications.
