About Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research
Aims
The Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research (JTAER; ISSN 0718-1876) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal that offers an opportunity for scholars, practitioners, and policy makers to share and debate new ideas that will influence or inform digital commerce. For the purposes of JTAER, digital commerce includes research on new or future technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, Web3, immersive commerce, industry 5.0), changing business or consumer practices (e.g., platform economies, social commerce, sustainability), and significant societal problems (e.g., ethics, privacy, digital inclusion, climate). JTAER also supports interdisciplinary approaches that encompass business, technology, and social science with the goal of developing knowledge and practice for responsible, sustainable, and inclusive electronic commerce around the world.
