International Women’s Day – Embrace Equity

We are excited to join the global community in celebrating International Women's Day (IWD) on March 8th. This year's theme, "Embrace Equity," highlights the importance of recognizing and addressing the unique challenges and experiences of women.

As part of our celebration, we spotlight six women in STEM, who are forging the way with notable scientific advances. To show our solidarity and support for #embraceequity, we have put together a collage of MDPI colleagues from our global offices. We have also curated a list of publications on topics related to gender equity, women in the workplace and women’s health.

We also want to remind everyone that all research published in MDPI journals is available open access, allowing practitioners, policy makers, and people around the world to access the latest scientific knowledge to build upon and share.

Although we still have a long way to go to achieve gender equality, this day also provides an opportunity to celebrate the progress made and inspire further action towards a more just and equitable world. Join us in solidarity to celebrate the progress towards equality and equity for women around the world.
