Publisher’s Note: AppliedPhys—A New Open Access Journal

MDPI, Grosspeteranlage 5, CH-4052 Basel, Switzerland
AppliedPhys (ISSN 3042-6553) is a new Open Access journal launched under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mauro Tonelli from the Department of Physics, University of Pisa, Italy []. Applied physics leverages physics principles to solve practical problems in technology, engineering and even everyday life. This new journal aims to bridge the gap between scientific theory and real-world applications, driving innovation.
By bringing together scientists and engineers from across the globe, AppliedPhys will be developed into an international journal covering a diverse range of fields such as nuclear physics, material physics, laser, optics, and optical engineering and biophysics. As with all MDPI journals, AppliedPhys will provide authors with a robust peer-review process and encourages authors to publish their experimental results in as much detail as possible to ensure reproducibility.
On behalf of the Editorial Board, we invite you to submit your original research articles, reviews, and communications and hope that you will join us in developing this new journal into a leading platform for sharing your research.
