Cover Story: The 2024 SCIAMI International Workshop was held on 7–8 June 2024, in Chieti, Italy. It was a two-day event dedicated to Chronic Wound Infections, to provide state-of-the-art knowledge regarding the worrying phenomenon of antimicrobial resistance associated with chronic wound pathogens and the development of new strategies, advanced technology and clinical therapy, under the One-Health umbrella. Supported by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU program, MUR Promotion and Development Fund DM737/2021, the workshop aimed to present the latest research on the possibilities of managing this problem and to provide participants with a targeted and engaging learning experience aimed at developing specific skills, improving knowledge or addressing particular challenges.
