Cover Story: This volume presents a collection of contributions made to the virtual event “The 1st International Electronic Conference on Medicine”. The IECMD brought together experts from several fields in medicine to present their latest findings and experiences. We hope that you enjoy reading the publications that resulted from this conference addressing a variety of research topics that cover the following areas: cardiology and cardiovascular medicine, neurology, oncology, endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, and epidemiology and public health.
