Cover Story: The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged health systems worldwide, increasing the need to implement and integrate paradigms such as Planetary Health and One Health. The human, animal, and environmental interface has once again led to threatening outcomes and allows a turning point for developing innovative and integral health actions. The International One Health Conference 2022 (OneHealth 2022) was held in Catania from 27 to 28 September 2022 in a hybrid form to share and debate experiences of systemic approaches to One Health and to possible envisions for a better systemic approach to managing urban and natural resources. The conference received more than 40 scientific contributions from more than 246 authors from all over the world. Relevant guests and keynotes were also invited to open the sessions.
