Cover Story: The current case report examines the correlation between intravenous infusion parameters and possible ocular adverse effects potentially related to voriconazole therapy. A 32-year-old female patient had hallucinations and visual disturbances following the initial administration of voriconazole for recurrent severe vulvovaginitis attributed to Candida glabrata. The symptoms abated following a reduction in dosage and infusion rate, in accordance with the clinical pharmacist's advice. This example underscores the adverse drug reactions associated with voriconazole, especially those resulting from improper infusion rates, and emphasizes the critical role of clinical pharmacists in managing these responses.
