With this Correction the journal’s Editorial Office and Editorial Board are jointly issuing a resolution to the Expression of Concern [1] on the article “Characterization of Macro- and Microalgae Extracts Bioactive Compounds and Micro- and Macroelements Transition from Algae to Extract. Foods 2021, 10, 2226” by Tolpeznikaite et al. [1]. This correction, details listed below, addresses the concerns raised in the above-mentioned Expression of Concern and is complimented by the addition of the study’s raw materials to the published article (accessible via https://www.mdpi.com/2304-8158/13/14/2249, accessed on 13 April 2025).
In the original publication [2], changes are needed for Figure 2, because of a technical mistake in the legend. There were two identical designations for different parameters (Chlorophyll a; Chlorophyl a). This should be corrected to Chlorophyl a; Chlorophyl b. The corrected Figure 2 is provided below.
In Table 3, because of a technical mistake, incorrect units were included (g kg−1 should be changed to mg kg−1). Because of the latter changes, corrections in Section “3. Results and Discussion” subsection “3.4. Micro- and Macroelement Concentrations in Algal Samples” should be performed. The corrected subsection “3.4. Micro- and Macroelement Concentrations in Algal Samples” is provided after Table 3.

Due to a technical mistake, the concentration units were changed throughout Section 3.4 from g kg−1 to mg kg−1.
The authors state that the scientific conclusions are unaffected. This correction was approved by the Academic Editor. The original publication has also been updated.
To support the results, the raw data file has been provided as Supplementary File S1 and appended to the Supplementary Materials section, as per the Journal’s request.
