The journal retracts the article “WLP-VBL: A Robust Lightweight Model for Water Level Prediction” [1].
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding an overlap between this publication [1] and an earlier article [2] published by different authors [2].
Adhering to our complaints procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and Editorial Board which confirmed a significant similarity in concept and methodology with an earlier publication [2], without appropriate acknowledgement or citation. As a result, the Editorial Board decided to retract this article as per MDPI’s retraction policy (MDPI|Research and Publication Ethics, available online: https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of Electronics.
The authors agree with the retraction.
