The Journal retracts the article, “Dynamics of MHD Convection of Walters B Viscoelastic Fluid through an Accelerating Permeable Surface Using the Soret–Dufour Mechanism” [1], cited above.
Following publication, Emanoil Linul contacted the Editorial Office with concerns regarding an overlap between this article [1] and another previously published preprint [2], from a different authorship group.
Adhering to our complaints procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Board and the Editorial Office that confirmed a significant overlap, which includes the Figures 1–13, Tables 1 and 2, and Equations (1)–(62). Given the extent of the overlap, the Editorial Office and Editorial Board have decided to retract this article as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Applied Sciences.
Emanoil Linul, Kuldeep K. Saxena, Raul Campilho, Chander Prakash, Dharam Buddhi, and Ch. Sri Chaitanya agree with the retraction. Other authors did not provide comments on the retraction.
