This article belongs to the Section Building Structures
In the original publication [1], the public source and licensing of the Hell Bridge Test Arena benchmark data were not stated sufficiently clearly in Section 3, “Explanation of Experimental Dataset”, under the subsection “Hell Bridge Full-Scale Steel Riveted Truss Bridge SHM Dataset”. In addition, the Zenodo dataset record and the associated publications [2,3,4] were not cited. The following paragraph has been inserted at the beginning of this subsection:
The Hell Bridge Test Arena data used in this study were obtained from the publicly available Hell Bridge benchmark dataset released by Svendsen et al. on Zenodo under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license [2]. The dataset description and experimental conditions summarized below are based on the public dataset documentation and the associated published studies [2,3,4]. The original full-scale bridge experiment, monitoring system, and raw data collection were conducted by the original dataset authors; the present article uses these data only as a public benchmark for imputation-method validation.
In the original publication [1], the caption of Figure 2 did not include an explicit source statement and license-related attribution for the Hell Bridge sensor-layout material. The correct legend appears below:
Figure 2. Hell Bridge Strain Sensors layout. Figure source: reproduced from the sensor-layout material in the public Hell Bridge Test Arena dataset by Svendsen et al. [2], distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
In the original publication [1], the source of the Z24 benchmark data used in Section 4.1, “Robustness Analysis Under MAR Scenarios (Z24)”, was not sufficiently specified, and the relevant benchmark publications [5,6] were not cited. The following sentence has been inserted at the beginning of this section:
The Z24 data used in the Z24 experiments originate from the Z24 Bridge benchmark study, a widely used public benchmark for vibration-based structural health monitoring and damage-identification research [5,6].
There was an error in the Data Availability Statement in the original publication [1]. The published statement indicated that the data were not publicly available due to restrictions imposed by the data provider and project agreements. This wording was not accurate for the public third-party benchmark data used in the study.
The Data Availability Statement has been replaced with the following:
The Hell Bridge Test Arena benchmark data used in this study are publicly available from Zenodo under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license [2]. The dataset is accompanied by an ASCE data paper and related SHM studies [2,3,4]. The Z24 benchmark data used in this study originate from the Z24 Bridge benchmark and related publications [5,6]. The author-generated processed results, experimental outputs, and code are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request, subject to reasonable research-use conditions.
References [2,3,4,5,6] have been added to support the dataset attribution, figure source, and benchmark descriptions.
With this correction, the order of some references has been adjusted accordingly. The authors state that the scientific conclusions are unaffected. This correction was approved by the Academic Editor. The original publication has also been updated.
