Cover Story: Health behaviors such as physical activity, diet, and smoking have a significant impact on mortality and morbidity. Patients who use complementary therapies, such as yoga, traditional healers, or herbs, appear more likely to undertake positive health behaviors. However, the extent of this is unclear. We analyzed 10,201 cases from a representative survey, in order to determine how many patients say that using complementary therapies motivates them to make changes to their health behaviors View this paper.
