Global Health Diplomacy
Topic Information
Dear Colleagues,
The COVID-19 crisis accentuated the global interdependence in health security and global vulnerability to infectious diseases, highlighting the importance of global health governance. Effective global health governance hinges on global political commitment on the part of nation-states, international institutions, and non-governmental organizations through diplomacy. Therefore, it is both rewarding and pressing to investigate global health diplomacy and the nexus of health and politics through a political perspective.
