Intelligent Design, Manufacturing and Maintenance of Agricultural Machinery Equipment
This special issue belongs to the section "Agricultural Mechanization and Machinery".
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue focuses on the intelligent design, manufacturing and maintenance of agricultural machinery equipment, systematically exploring the innovative design and application of advanced theories and technologies such as artificial intelligence in the entire life cycle of agricultural machinery. With the deep integration of new-generation advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, new energy and composite materials with agricultural machinery, traditional agricultural machinery is accelerating its transformation and upgrading towards intelligence, being lightweight, greenness and networking. This Special Issue will mainly explore key technologies such as intelligent design methods, intelligent manufacturing processes, intelligent operation and fault diagnosis, remote monitoring and data management, human–computer interaction and intelligent control for agricultural machinery equipment, as well as pay attention to the practical applications and challenges of intelligent agricultural machinery in scenarios such as smart agriculture, smart farms and the agricultural low-altitude economy. By gathering the latest research results from both domestic and international sources, it can provide theoretical references and practical guidance for researchers, engineering technicians, managers and policy makers in the field of agricultural machinery, ultimately promoting the intelligent development of agricultural machinery equipment and contributing to global food production security and agricultural sustainable development.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. AgriEngineering is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 1800 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
