Mathematical and Computational Applications | New Affiliation Agreement with the South African Association for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (SAAM)

We are pleased to announce that the South African Association for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (SAAM) is affiliated with the journal Mathematical and Computational Applications (MCA, ISSN: 2297-8747) and the journal Applied Mechanics (ISSN: 2673-3161). All members of SAAM receive discounts on the article processing charges.

SAAM serves the mechanics community in South Africa (SA). It promotes activities concerning theoretical, experimental and computational mechanics in SA to enhance the development of this country's mechanics expertise. SAAM represents the interests of the mechanics community of South Africa, being recognized nationally and internationally as an adhering organization of the International Union for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM) and the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM). The association provides South African representation in the organization, planning, and hosting of international IUTAM congresses. It biennially coordinates and organizes the South African Conference on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (SACAM).
