Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The goal of this Special Issue is to explore the most comprehensive and cutting-edge technologies and applications related to water security, management, and the Internet of Things (IoT). It seeks to bring together the latest advancements in technology, with a focus on improving water security, water management, conservation, and energy efficiency. Specifically, research papers addressing topics such as smart water management, water monitoring and control, utility automation, water quality and conservation, water sanitation, and other related topics will be included in the issue. Furthermore, papers that discuss the implications of IoT for water security and management, such as the use of data analytics, edge computing, and machine learning, as well as research that examines the impact of regulatory changes, emergent technologies, and societal behaviors on water security and management will be included. This Special Issue will provide readers with a platform to share their knowledge and insights on current challenges and future opportunities related to water security, management, and IoT.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Water is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
