10th Anniversary

The year 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of Universe, a peer-reviewed open access journal pertaining to theoretical, experimental and observational progress in fundamental and applied physics, ranging from circumterrestrial space to cosmological scenarios. With an Impact Factor of 2.5 and a CiteScore of 4.3, the journal is recognized by Scopus, SCIE (Web of Science), Astrophysics Data System/Science Explorer, INSPIRE, CAPlus / SciFinder, Inspec, and other databases. Now spanning more than 2000 papers from over 7000 authors, and supported by more than 3000 reviewers, the journal gratefully acknowledges the invaluable contributions of our editors, authors, and reviewers.

In honor of Universe’s 10th anniversary, we are reflecting on our past accomplishments as we enter this exciting new chapter. We invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone for our journal and to explore the content we have prepared for you below.

Journal History

The inaugural issue was released. Universe was initially published as a quarterly journal.

Prof. Dr. Lorenzo Iorio was appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of Universe.



Universe was indexed in ADS (Astrophysics Data System).



Universe was indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics).



Universe adopted a monthly publication schedule.

Universe was indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics).



Universe received its first Impact Factor (2018) of 2.165.

Universe was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier).



Universe received its first Citescore (2019) of 2.4.

Universe organized the 1st International Electronic Conference of Universe.



In 2025, we will mark the 10th anniversary of Universe.
