We are pleased to announce the winner of the Plants 2021 Best Paper Award for Young Investigator. All papers published in the "Young Investigators in Plant Sciences" Special Issue from 14 Jul 2021 to 20 Jul 2022 in Plants were considered for the award. After a thorough evaluation of the originality and significance of the papers, citations, and downloads, one winner was selected.
