Young Investigator Award
We are pleased to announce the winner of the Pharmaceutics Young Investigator Award 2018, Dr. Aaron C. Anselmo, an Assistant Professor at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Division of Pharmacoengineering and Molecular Pharmaceutics, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
His work focuses on developing pharmaceutics-based approaches to deliver therapeutic bacteria. He combines pharmaceutics fundamentals to inform the engineering of new delivery systems for the microbiota. This work overlaps microbiology and microbe ecology, pharmaceutics, engineering and drug delivery to develop new strategies for treating microbiota-related disorders. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Aaron C. Anselmo for a well-deserved prize.
As the awardee, Dr. Anselmo will receive an honorarium of 2000 CHF, an offer to publish a paper free of charge without a fixed deadline in Pharmaceutics, and a certificate.
