Sustainable Nutrition and Human Health as Part of Sustainable Development

Dear Colleagues,

In light of your expertise, we are pleased to invite you to contribute a paper for our Special Issue “Sustainable Nutrition and Human Health as Part of Sustainable Development”, which will be published in Nutrients (ISSN 2072-6643, IF 5.719).

For this Special Issue, we would like to invite authors to contribute high-quality original research papers as well as meta-analyses and review articles highlighting novel features of nutrition and dietetics that promote global sustainable development. Currently, the term “sustainable development” is most commonly used in aspects of global and environmental health, but we would like to use it more, particularly in nutrition and environmental concerns since education of society about proper nutrition in environmental and public health aspects is very important. In addition, we are particularly interested in scientific reports on social, economic, and health inequalities in the context of achieving sustainable development goals in nutrition and dietetics.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Nutrients is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
