Journal History

1996	MCA was launched as the official journal of the Association for Scientific Research.
2016	MCA was published by MDPI from Volume 21, Issue 1 (2016).
2017	MCA established the following sections: Engineering; Natural Sciences; Social Sciences.
2019	MCA was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 22 (Issue 1). MCA published its 1,000th paper.
2023	MCA received its first Impact Factor (1.9).
2024	MCA was indexed in Scopus–Elsevier. The South African Association for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (SAAM) became affiliated to MCA.
2026	The year 2026 marks the 30th Anniversary of MCA.
