About Lipidology

Aims

Lipidology (ISSN 2813-7086) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal devoted to lipid research. It links several scientific disciplines, including chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmacology, nutrition, metabolism, and clinical science. Our aim is to provide a forum for high-quality research ranging from basic lipid biology to applied studies in medicine, nutrition, and biotechnology. By connecting fundamental science with practical applications, we foster interdisciplinary innovation.

Lipidology publishes original research articles, review articles, communications, and other article types. There is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers or the number of electronic multimedia and supplementary files. Full experimental details should be provided so that the results can be reproduced.

Scope

This journal invites submissions covering, but not limited to, the following subject areas:

• Lipid structure and molecular function;
• Lipid physiology in cells and organisms;
• Lipid metabolism and its regulating enzymatic systems;
• Lipidomics and lipid profiling;
• Lipid-related mechanisms in human health and disease;
• Dietary lipids and metabolic health;
• Marine lipids;
• Lipid bioengineering, synthetic design, and biomedical applications;
• Lipid-based nanocarriers for drug and nucleic acid delivery.
