Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Precision medicine (PM) is one of the new modern approaches for treating cardiovascular diseases, aiming to provide optimal therapeutic results for each cardiovascular disease and patient. Treatments are tailored to the genetic variations, environmental and cardiovascular factors, and lifestyle dynamics of each individual, and importantly, incorporates emerging diagnostic tools.
Despite the advancements in genomic, diagnostic, and therapeutic approaches over the past decades, cardiovascular diseases (CHDs) remain the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide.
This Special Issue will explore the latest innovations in cardiovascular imaging, genetics, and personalized therapeutic strategies, aimed at advancing precision care in cardiology.
We welcome contributions from cardiologists, geneticists, cardiologists, and pharmacologists on diverse topics, including the following:
- State-of-the-art cardiovascular imaging techniques that enhance diagnostic accuracy, early detection, and personalized monitoring of heart diseases;
- Genetic discoveries and biomarkers that pave the way for tailored, patient-specific approaches to risk stratification, disease prevention, and treatment;
- Innovations in pharmacology with a focus on personalized medicine, targeting individual patient profiles for optimized cardiovascular drug therapies;
- Emerging therapeutic strategies integrating cutting-edge science with real-time physiological data, enabling precision medicine in cardiovascular care.
This Special Issue aims to highlight interdisciplinary advancements that promise to transform how we understand, diagnose, and treat cardiovascular conditions, improving both the outcomes and quality of life for patients. We encourage submissions that address the potential of combining clinical expertise, molecular insights, and technological innovations to offer the most effective, personalized care.
We look forward to groundbreaking research that can help shape the future of cardiovascular medicine through personalized therapies, novel imaging techniques, and genetic insights.
We encourage high-quality research that explores new methodologies, clinical trials, and technological advancements aimed at improving patient outcomes in cardiology.
Join us in advancing the future of cardiology through personalized medicine, as we push the boundaries of knowledge and practice in cardiovascular health.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Journal of Personalized Medicine is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2600 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
