Young Investigator Award

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Insects 2022 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Adam G. Dolezal.

Dr. Adam G. Dolezal is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Entomology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, United States. Dr. Adam G. Dolezal’s research interests are in physiology, genes and behavior and honey bee biology. Dr. Adam G. Dolezal received his PhD in 2012 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising 42 publications in peer-reviewed international journals. Dr. Adam G. Dolezal’s Scopus scientific citations number is 1195 and his Hirsch index is 21. He is clearly a rising star in the field of entomology. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Adam G. Dolezal for his outstanding achievements.

As the awardee, Dr. Adam G. Dolezal will receive an honorarium of CHF 2000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before end of 2023 in Insects after peer review, and an electronic certificate.
