About Condensed Matter
An open access journal covering all aspects of the physics of condensed matter systems. It publishes original research articles and reviews, and there is no restriction on the length of the papers. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish full details of their experimental and theoretical results including, where possible, access to original data and computer code, so that the results can be reproduced.
The following areas are covered by the journal:• Solid state physics
• Structure of matter and phase transitions
• Properties of composites and alloys
• Electronic properties of materials
• Quantum phenomena in complex condensed matter
• Soft condensed matter, active matter
• Computational methods applied to condensed matter
• Materials for energy and electronics in the quantum era
MDPI Publication Ethics Statement
Condensed Matter is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). MDPI takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications.
