Best Paper Award
The Cells Best Paper Award is granted annually to highlight publications of high quality, scientific significance, and extensive influence. Its evaluation committee members choose four articles of exceptional quality that were published in the journal two years prior and announce them online by the end of June.
The Prize:
– First prize (one research article and one review): CHF 500 and a voucher for a full discount on the article processing charge of one paper, valid for one year;
– Second prize (Two research articles and Two reviews): a voucher for a full discount on the article processing charge of one paper, valid for one year;
– Each winner will receive an electronic certificate.
Eligibility and Requirements
– All papers published in Cells are eligible (both regular and Special Issue submissions).
Selection Criteria
– Scientific merit and broad impact;
– Originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented;
– Creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts;
– Clarity of presentation;
– Citations and downloads.
