Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue focuses on the latest advancements in wound healing. It welcomes a wide range of topics, including the mechanisms of wound healing, novel wound dressings, and therapeutic strategies. The Issue highlights the importance of understanding the complex biological processes involved in wound repair, such as inflammation, cell proliferation, and tissue remodeling. It also explores the use of advanced materials and technologies, such as nanofibrous membranes and miRNA-based biopolymers, to promote faster and more effective healing. Contributions from leading researchers in the field will provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in wound care, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Biomedicines is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
