Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue will comprise papers covering a wide range of aspects related to the development of sustainable dynamic capabilities in the context of entrepreneurial ventures.
In recent times, sustainable entrepreneurship as a research topic has gained significant attention in research into the business field. In this sense, the current body of literature broadly addresses the definition of sustainable entrepreneurship and its characterization. Thus, informed scholars have provided clear boundaries for sustainable entrepreneurship as a research topic, hence providing the definition of sustainable entrepreneurship.
However, the process of how entrepreneurial capabilities associated with sustainability concerns are created and developed in businesses in their initial stages of development is still an unexplored topic, i.e., what exactly are sustainable dynamic capabilities and how do sustainable start-ups develop them?
Thus, research addressing the abovementioned questions from a theoretical, empirical–qualitative, or empirical–quantitative viewpoint is welcome. Papers selected for this issue may also address theoretical and methodological developments.
