The authors requested to update Equation (5) in the original publication [1].
More specifically, Equation (5) for calculation of synthesis yield should be:
  • Corrected:
Yield (%) = [(mass of “as obtained” material)/(mass of V2O5 precursor)] × 100
  • Instead of (current):
Yield (%) = (mass of V2O5 precursor)/(mass of “as obtained” material)
The data provided in Table 1 (synthesis yield values) are correct based on the corrected equation. This is evident based on facts provided in Section 2. Materials and Methods, since “0.365 g of solid V2O5” (i.e., 365 mg) were used in our synthesis. Thus the “as obtained” material (<300 mg) quantity should be on the numerator of the division equation for the synthesis yield calculation to be less than 100% and the ratio should be multiplied by 100 to be represented as a percentage.
The authors state that the scientific conclusions are unaffected. This correction was approved by the Academic Editor. The original publication has also been updated.
